My Background

My name is Lauren, and I’m a labor and postpartum doula located in central Illinois. I have seven years of experience in inpatient obstetric nursing care (registered nurse). I recently left the bedside because I no longer felt fulfilled. My goal as a doula is to help you in whatever capacity you need, prenatally, laboring, and postpartum.

I am passionate about women’s health and the right to choose your own path. I believe that with collaboration between your healthcare team and myself, you will have the best birth experience possible. I have massive amounts of experience with natural, medicated, and cesarean births. I have tips, tricks, and knowledge when it comes to the labor and postpartum period, including lactation (if that is what you desire).

I am also in graduate school to be a certified nurse midwife, with a graduation date of 2025 through Frontier Nursing University.
